Here are some of the blogs that I update regularly:
Laura Angilee Murray: This site was my very first attempt at blogging and I have left it mostly as is so that new bloggers won't have to feel bad about how silly they may have looked when starting out. I still work in this one regularly and there is no telling when you might find something cool or interesting here.
Here's to y'all: Current Research, Grantwriting and love from CreateHere:
I have been working diligently on this gathering of information for a
grant that has become available in Chattanooga recently because of the
generous Lyndhurst Foundation and CreateHere. This page is dedicating
to the how, where, when, why and what of grantwriting. (Especially for
this particular grant. Any and all help is appreciated!) ......not for the faint of heart or easily offended.
Think, Thinking, Thought: I am working on a series of paintings and drawings about the fluidity of gender. This site is the gathering place for all of my online research materials. If you are interested in queer politics, women boxers, butch lesbians or FTM transsexuals, then this is the place for you.
Rivoli Art Mill: This is the current location of my studio and a collection of some of my closest friends. Please, drop by the studio any time to see our work. We will fix you a pot of coffee or tea and take you on a grand tour. The Rivoli Art Mill is located at 2301 E 28th St, between Rossville Blvd and Dodds Ave.
The Source: I developed this website for AVA, the Association for Visual Arts, which is located in Chattanooga, TN. It is a resource listing for artists in the Southeast. I put any and all calls to artists that I can find that I think that local artists would like to hear about. There are teachers, frame shops, art supply stores and the latest goings on at AVA. If you have been to an AVA function recently, you might see your picture on the image carousel.
